Everything you need to understand about using Ladaar — from common questions to how we handle your data and govern our platform.

About Ladaar

Learn what Ladaar is and who it's built for.

Ladaar Infrastructure Limited is a construction fintech platform that connects project owners with vetted artisans and suppliers across Nigeria. We combine project financing, a professional marketplace, and real-time tracking to bring transparency, trust, and efficiency to the construction industry.
Ladaar is open to property owners, real estate developers, contractors, artisans, and building materials suppliers in Nigeria. Whether you're funding a home build or offering skilled professional services, Ladaar is designed for you.
Currently, Ladaar operates within Nigeria, though we are actively building towards pan-African expansion. We also serve Nigerian diaspora communities looking to finance construction projects back home in Nigeria.
Download the Ladaar app from the App Store or Google Play, or visit www.ladaar.com. Register with your phone number, verify your identity, and you're ready to begin. The onboarding process typically takes under 10 minutes.
Wallet & Financing

How project funding and escrow work on the platform.

The Ladaar Wallet is a savings and financing tool that allows users to contribute funds towards construction projects. Deposits are held in regulated escrow and disbursed in milestone-based tranches only when verified project progress is confirmed — protecting your money throughout the build.
When a project is initiated, key construction milestones are agreed upon and recorded in the Digital Contract. Funds are released from escrow to contractors or suppliers only when each milestone is verified — either by the project owner or an independent inspector — ensuring that money follows confirmed progress.
Yes. Funds held in the Ladaar Wallet are kept in regulated escrow accounts, entirely separate from Ladaar's operational funds. Disbursements are only authorised upon milestone verification, and Ladaar does not use escrowed funds for its own purposes.
Yes. Ladaar supports remittance-enabled funding, allowing Nigerians abroad to contribute directly to construction projects in Nigeria. Foreign currency contributions are converted at prevailing market rates and held in escrow in Nigerian Naira.
Marketplace & Professionals

Finding, hiring, and working with vetted construction professionals.

Every professional on the Ladaar marketplace goes through a comprehensive verification process including identity checks, trade certification review, reference checks, and portfolio assessment. Ratings and reviews from completed projects contribute to each professional's ongoing standing on the platform.
You can find a wide range of construction professionals on Ladaar, including architects, civil engineers, plumbers, electricians, tilers, painters, masons, carpenters, and building materials suppliers, among many others.
Browse the marketplace, filter by trade or location, review profiles and ratings, then send a project request. Once a professional accepts and a Ladaar Digital Contract is countersigned by both parties, all payments flow securely through the escrow system.
Digital Contracts & Transparency

How Ladaar protects your project with documentation and tracking.

Ladaar Digital Contracts are legally-referenced agreements generated on the platform between project owners and hired professionals. They outline scope of work, agreed rates, milestones, and payment terms — all stored securely and referenced under Nigerian law.
Ladaar provides a Labour Rate Benchmarking tool showing prevailing market rates for various trades across Nigeria, as well as an integrated Project Cost Estimator to help you plan your budget accurately before work begins.
Yes. Ladaar's Transparency Layer allows project owners to track milestones, view uploaded progress photos and documents, and receive notifications as work advances — all from within the app, at any time.
Support & Disputes

Getting help and resolving issues on the platform.

Ladaar has a structured dispute resolution process. Raise a formal dispute within the app, and our team will review the Digital Contract, milestone records, and platform communications to facilitate a fair resolution. Funds held in escrow remain fully protected until the dispute is resolved.
Reach our support team via in-app chat, by email at support@ladaar.com, or through our website at www.ladaar.com. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours on business days.
